Final expense life insurance · Ages 50 to 80

Leave them your love, not your bills.

A funeral often costs $8,000 to $12,000, and that bill lands on family within days. Final expense is whole-life insurance with a set monthly premium that puts money in your loved ones' hands when they need it, so the goodbye is never about money.

Why families choose Evergreen

Coverage built to protect, not to puzzle.

Health conditions welcome

Many plans accept common health conditions, and guaranteed-acceptance options ask no health questions at all.

A premium that never rises

These are whole-life policies. The monthly premium you start with is the one you keep, at any age.

Paid straight to your family

The benefit goes directly to the people you name, generally free of income tax, to use for the funeral and remaining bills.

Coverage that never expires

Honest answers

The questions people ask us most.

Is this a government program?+

No. Final expense coverage is private whole-life insurance offered through licensed agents and insurance carriers. Evergreen is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Medicare, Social Security, or any government agency, and this is not a state benefit or "state-approved" money.

Is this free?+

No, and anyone who tells you otherwise is not being straight with you. This is an insurance policy with a monthly premium you pay for as long as you want the coverage. What you get in return: when you pass, the full benefit is paid to the people you name. Many policies for this age group run roughly $30 to $90 a month depending on age, health, and the amount you choose.

Do I get money while I am alive?+

No. This is not a payout, grant, or lump sum you receive yourself. The benefit is paid to your beneficiaries after your passing, which is exactly what lets it cover the funeral and final bills so your family does not have to.

Will I qualify with health conditions?+

Very likely. Many plans accept common conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart history, and guaranteed-acceptance plans for ages 50 to 80 ask no health questions at all. A health condition changes which plan fits, not whether an agent can help.

Can my rate go up as I get older?+

No. On these whole-life policies the premium is fixed the day your coverage is issued and never rises with age or health changes. The coverage amount doesn't shrink either, as long as premiums are paid. One honest exception: guaranteed-acceptance (graded) policies may pay a reduced benefit if death occurs within the first two years, so ask your agent whether the plan you choose is graded.
